Acid Gamez is one of the first studios to launch through Forest Studios, our dedicated incubation program for indie game developers building on Forest Protocol. Their debut title, Stack, went live recently and has already crossed a ~$500k market cap with hundreds of players onboard, all before any formal marketing push. We sat down with the Acid Gamez team to hear the story in their own words, where they came from, why they chose to build on Forest, and what's coming next.
Hear from Acid Gamez:
"For years we've been doing what indie studios do best, quietly making small, skill-based, addictive games. We had the ideas, the experience, and the backlog. What we didn't have was a real way to distribute our games, fund development, and build an economy around what we were shipping. Web3 distribution was fragmented, launchpads with no audience, no tools, no economy underneath.
Forest Studios came in at exactly the right time. We already had the games. We already loved making them. Forest gave us everything around it, infrastructure, SDK tools, distribution, and a live, functioning economy to plug into. Without Forest, we genuinely could not imagine launching our project and token into real liquidity with real players from day one. Today Stack sits at a ~$500k market cap with hundreds of people already playing, before we've even started marketing.
This is why we're going all in on our community. Our first game is live, the pipeline is stacked, and the team has made a decision we're proud of: we're not taking profits from Stack. The overwhelming majority of the supply is going back to the players through airdrops, leaderboards, and community rewards. We've reserved the largest allocation for what will be the biggest airdrop in Forest Protocol history, and we're announcing it soon.
Forest gave us the rails. Now we build the journey together"
